I am using Caliburn.Micro in a Master/Detail navigation sort of app and I noticed that when I click the back button on the phone, the BackKeyPress event is not fired. I have created a small repro solution from the default phone application template in VS. What I did was create a blank new app and subscribe to the BackKeyPress event. I verified that it fired correctly. Then, I implemented the minimal amount of code to bootstrap Caliburn.Micro and verified the back button no longer fires the event. I have read through the code and can't determine why there would be any difference in behaviour. Is it possible the event would be swallowed by something in the Caliburn.Micro framework?

Here is a link to my the repro:

Any help is appreciated.
