Question dialog asking for different data types

I've added a fork and wanted to do a proof of concept for RPC (Remote procedure call) handling with CM and silverlight. We have a big fat WMS (Warehouse Management System) written in C (from the 80's) and the only to communicate with it from "newer" clients is with Rpc's. I'm trying to introduce silverlight but as I said I need some proof of concept.

Anyway, I need a way to ask questions from the server. Could be normal YesNo with yes or no as default value etz. Also I need to ask for numeric values, strings (with maximum length), datetime or time. So I was thinking about ripping the question source from Caliburn and adding a textbox that could be bound to a default value. The text box should be able to handle the different data types (meaning correct input). Depending on input I want to get it from the vm to be able to send it back to the server

Does anyone have any input regarding this?
