where in source is the SurviveTombstone attribute at?

It's gone. There is an entirely new tombstoning and launcher/chooser mechanism in the extensions assembly. Have a look at the HelloWP7 sample to see how it's used. If you want the attribute model, you can build that on top of what I have now and do so in a more reliably way than before.

you know funny thing all this time I was using the code drop and I thought I was using a different trunk but it was the base moving forward towards 1.1 so it was removed ages ago I am guessing.. That explains somethings.  So the storage mech is what are you are using on activate/deactivate.  So you store the text property and the index in the one but as for the other "PivotPageModelStorage.cs" are you saving the ActiveItem that it knows about?
