What would interfere with the ApplicationBar from reappearing upon navigating back to the MainPage.xaml for example back from a page without a bar, using the hardware button or a button on the applicationbar on the page in navigated from.  It only happens coming back from the Settings Screen

starting to get alittle frustrating on how to figure it out.

MainPage.xaml = Screen  w/ Pivot control, alot going on here.

Settings.xaml = Screen,  ToggleControl / ListPicker

SyncView.xaml = PropertyChangedBase, Appbar/Textbox at present

I am totally buffaloed by this...

so i was able to force the issue but its got really bad code smell.   Some how the going from MainPage.xaml to settings.xaml is fine but going back to the Mainpage.xaml the ApplicationBar property gets changed in such that IsVisible = false.  What would cause that... So I forced the ApplicationBar to IsVisible = true

 as result of this hack storagehandler doesn't save properties...

Anyone got ideas, as to why it would change without being specifically told to hide?

started over with the page that was causing the grief so far its not occurring again.  Go Figure..  I am sure it was something fine grained in the xaml that was causing it or it could have been some code in the viewmodel but I am not sure where it was.   as for the hacking it was really bad....
