"Action" stripped off method names during convention binding

I noticed in change set 75f01811eff0 in Parser.cs, a convention was added which strips the word Action from the front of all messages (line 102 in that revision).  This means I can't as easily bind to a method called Action(), or beginning with the word Action.  Was this meant to be a standard convention?  I ask because I didn't notice it in the documentation, and it took a while to track down the issue.

I can name my method something else, but I'm just curious.  Thanks!
