Hi,

I would be interested in to know if it is possible to use Caliburn Micro for writing Metro apps.

Can anybody of you give me a hint?

TIA

We hope it will be possible. Unfortunately, it's an extremely large effort to port Caliburn.Micro, because so much has been changed in WinRT. In the repository we have support for the most basic features already: PropertyChangedBase, BindableCollection, Execute (for UI dispatch and design mode checking). Also, the EventAggregator has been ported. I will probably port SimpleContainer soon. However, I'm holding off on porting the rest of the framework until after the official Beta. The reason is that I have heard that there are going to be some big changes in the Beta and I don't want to go through a massive effort of porting only to have to turn around and do it all again shortly thereafter.

Thanks for the answer

I did not think that it is such a great effort to port it to WinRT (but I'm not really an expert in the .net world). I hope the best that is possible to port

Thanks for your hard work...
