I am new to caliburn, and I have a question:
How I can use all caliburn features(navigation, messaging etc) with classic binding notation. Is it possible?

you do want it or you don't cause you seem to contradict yourself with title and contents of message....

if you do want it then name your controls you might have to put in some conventions if your controls are 3rd party or custom, otherwise classic bindings are necessary. You can pick an choose what you want to work with.. All a function of what you..

Should I need to bind viewmodels without magic to use classic bindings with 3rd party controls?

ViewModel binding is free in CM it happens based on naming convention, viewmodel is found it looks for a view to pair it with, no view found you get an error on the window that is presented. Can you provide an example of what you are looking for?
