Can't seem to attach a handler to a TextBox's PropertyChanged event (WPF)

I've tried the long- and short-form syntaxes shown under the "all about actions" topic in the documentation. They work for the LostFocus event but not for PropertyChanged. (There are also some WPF features that worked when I validated on LostFocus that no longer seem to work when I validate on PropertyChanged - but for reasons that are beyond the scope of this message to explain, I really need to validate on PropertyChanged.) I have managed to create an awkward, partially adequate workaround, but would prefer to have more elegant code if possible.

Thanks in advance....

One can set UpdateSourceTrigger=PropertyChanged or LostFocus, but whereas there is a LostFocus event it doesn't appear that there is a PropertyChanged event that's raised by the TextBox. So it is not a Caliburn.Micro problem. I will try other options. [Lapse of time here....] Attaching to KeyUp works fabulously. "Never mind."
